Feb. 24-26, Fri 6pm -Sun. 4pm

Many spiritual traditions share the concept of special spiritual practice for 30-40 days to clear the mind, the body and reconnect with the Divine. Muslims observe Ramadan, Christians observe Lent, and many cultures mark the Spring Equinox as a special time of rededication and renewal.

This retreat will provide the tools to create a personal sadhana (spiritual practice) and deepen your observance of Lent or your own spiritual tradition. We will share the book “Living Buddha, Living Christ” by Thich Naht Hahn. You’ll be guided through daily yoga asana practice, various meditation and self-reflection techniques and breathwork.

Group meals will be prepared to support a gentle Ayurvedic cleanse (no wheat, no meat, no dairy, no caffeine, no alcohol, no processed foods) to enhance spiritual purification. No caffeine will be served during the weekend; please slowly wean yourself off caffeine before the weekend to avoid headaches. You will receive a sample menu and recipes to continue the cleanse if you choose.
