Dancing Feet Yoga’s inaugural 300 hr Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training has been designed to integrate contemporary psychology with a multi-modal approach to yoga and spiritually based healing.
Practical hands on technique building to enhance your craft will be matched with a study of the Yoga Sutras, the Bagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradapika. Contemporary texts form the curriculum to support your over all understanding of yoga’s scope and effectiveness in addressing the therapeutic needs of individuals.
Postural assessment, anatomy (both physical and energetic), yoga psychology, chakra balancing, working with sound and color, pendulum reading, transformational kinesiology, advanced communication skills and the incorporation of yoga nidra are areas of concentration that will be emphasized. Yoga therapy perspectives from the Vinniyoga, Iyengar and Kundalini traditions.will be examined against the background of Ayurveda and Tantra.
You’ll learn to tailor your approach for assisting individuals in their healing journey, promote their health and wellbeing with yoga therapy and at the same time enhance your own satisfaction and prosperity.
Upon completion you’ll be able to build a one-on-one private practice to better serve your existing students and provide a deeper experience going beyond what the typical yoga class can provide.
Purpose:
Develop the necessary skills to prepare better classes and build a professional approach to one-on-one yoga therapy.
Upon completion of the requirements, students will receive a 300 hour certification from Dancing Feet Yoga meeting the standards set forth by the Yoga Alliance.
